The Heatmakerz

The HEATMAKERZ is a multi-platinum music production team that rose to fame in the early 2000's after crafting hits for The Diplomats, Lil Wayne, Ghostface Killa, Lil Flip, Beyonce, and many more. The bulk of albums like Diplomatic Immunity and Juelz Santana's debut "From Me to U" were produced by Rsonist of The Heatmakerz. Their early production style, as Rsonist himself describes it, was aggressive soul music characterized by hard drums, fast hi-hats, and sped-up soul samples. Today, The Heatmakerz continue to create classics using the same style of production with the addition of live instrumentation played by new Heatmaker, Dwayne (Wayno) Shippy . Wayno is a 3 time Grammy Nominated music producer who has worked with artists like Chris Brown and Shaggy, just to name a few. The Heatmakerz are currently creating in their Times Square studio (Diamond District Studios) working with many top recording artists across all genres to create records that will stand the test of time. Their dedication, versatility, and pain-staking attention to detail has earned them the privilege of executive producing the highly anticipated Joell Ortiz album "House Slippers" due to be released in September of 2014. The lead single "Music Saved My Life" featuring B.O.B and Mally Stakz is currently in rotation and making it's way up the charts.
